Minutes of the Meeting held 15th April 1910.

Present all except Cr Mitchell.

Cr Bruce in Chair.

Main Road. General. Wire netting & A/c A Letter from Varly & Evan re right of way. Rec’d Moved by Cr Puckridge, Seconded by Cr Parker. That right of way as per plan be accepted. Car Letter fromElder Smith re wire netting. Letter recd from C. R. Works. Re plan Letter from Surveyor General re closing Roads asking reply to previous letter. Letter from Mr Fenwick re road marking near his house. Moved by Cr Puckridge. Seconded by Cr Morgan. That estimates be obtained for metaling etc for next meeting. Car Resignation of Pound Keeper. Moved by Cr Puckridge.That A Hanchant Seconded by Cr Morgan.) Resignation be accepted . & Mr Skinner be apointed with the under standing that he receive 10% on money taken _ by way of fees & O/S to collect money on hand & owing

letter from Mr Ranford re Two Wells asking for estimates to be obtained for erecting Wind mill & Tanks _ Chairman explained what had been done in the matter. Petition Recd from Ratepay re Gov Well. Cr Puckridge moved } That o/s purchase portion Secd by Cr Morgan } of pump & new Piston Rod for same _ Mr Leech explained re improvements End Level crossing Stevenson Street Moved by Cr Puckridge Secd by Cr Morgan that E. in Chief be asked to make level crossing & to bear the cost of same. Mr Sullivan Mr Johnson also called attention to the water lying in Liverpool St also the Gov Well Moved by Cr Puckridge } That tender be called for Secd by Cr Morgan } erecting Tanks Etc & estimate for sinking hole to take of water car. Moved by Cr Puckridge } That o/s prospects for Secd by Cr Puckridge } frame for Making Road leading west for Mortlock Siding car letter Boys Scouts _ Seg General Meeting to be called to see what could be done

Minutes of Ratepayers Meeting held Dist Council Hall Pt Lincoln April 20th 1910 The Chairman Mr Bruce stated that the meeting had been convened by requisition signd by number of Ratepays to take into consideration the advisability of foring a progress Committee _ Mr. JH Seacombe gave an outline of what he thought was wanted & moved that a Committee be formed of Nine Members This was seconded by Mr Jones_. Carried Mr Leech stated that a committee had already been formed & stated the resolution that had been carried. Moved by Mr Moore that the following 7 Members form Committee _ Mefs Solly. Bartlett. Seacombe Kerrison JG McFee. G Dorward. & ED Swaffer Mr Johnson Seconded Mr Jenkins Moved an amendment Miss Besley moved a further amendment No seconded _ Moved by Mr McMarlane that if in order he would add the names of Leech & Sanders to the number making 9 in all Seconded by E.D. Swaffer supported by G Dorward & Wollaston _ carried The Committees being formed it was left for them to draw Rules & Regulations at a future date _ Re Boy's Scouts The matter to be left to the Defence Rifle Club Moved by Mr Moore Secd by Seacombe Minutes Read & Meeting closed
