Meeting of Council held April 19 1901 Present Crs Dorward (Chairman) Bruce Dutton Puckridge & OShanahan Minutes of last meeting read & confirmed 3/4 Balance sheet & Auditors report read prop Cr Dorward Secd Cr OShanahan That Balance sheet & Auditors report be adopted as read Carried Financial Statements read by Chairman Surveyor General stating that losses of £124-10-0 & £295-15 had been paid to Councils Credit. Varley & Evan stating that owners of land purchased at Councils sale for arrears of rates can obtain conveyances of land purchased at a fee of 31/-. Cr Bruce prop Cr Shanahan secd That Clerk forward the letter on to Mr Sullivan (Chairman of meeting of petitioners for their information (Letter to be returned). Carried Elliston D/C stating that they cannot do anything at present in the way of levying rate for destruction of Rabbits. Received AH Wollaston re compensation for severance of hand Near Lake Hamilton Road forwarding copy letter from C C Lands

Cr OShanahan prop Cr Bruce Sec Clerk forward reply that Council having already paid one amount Council do not admit further liability (Carried) Wire netting applications

Cr Bruce prop Cr O'Shanahan seconded That estimate be obtained from Mr Eime for Conveying Roller & Rolling work at Tumby & be submitted to Crs Dorward & Bruce Carried A/cs MR
