Balance Sheets submitted For Half year, for General A/Cs, WireNetting, Government Grants A/c, & Fencing LoanA/c, with auditors report theron.

Moved by Cr O'Shanahan that the Balance Sheets & auditors report be adopted 2nd Cr Hall. Carried. Correspondence Petition L. T. G. Robinson Letter from the Secretary Lands re same

Clerk to write to Mr. Robinson in regard to the matter

Mr John Durdin Letter received from Mr Durdin asking for the sum of £10- for damages caused to his crop by straying cattle.

Moved by Cr Hall that the necessary steps be taken to have a pound erected forthwith, at Cummins & Mr Durdin be advised that the Council cannot entertain his claim for damages. Carried.

Pillana Reserve. Letter received from Mr R.J. Rosewarne asking to lease road adjoining Section 14 Hd Cummins, & to lease one acre of Pillana Reserve. Moved by Cr Hall that the road be leased to Mr Rosewarne, & one acre of the Reserve, which latter must be substantially fenced: Rent 2/6 per year. 2nd Cr Simes. Carried.

Asphodel, or Wild Onion. Letter from the Clerk, District Council Tumby Bay stating the above was gazetted a Noxious Weed on Dec 31st 1925

British Imperial Oil Coy. Letter from Mr W.M. McFarlane, on behalf of the British Imperial Oil Coy, asking permission to erect a sign board on the West Road at the junction of the old & New Roads.

Moved by Cr Simes that Mr. McFarlane be given permssion to erect the sign board at the place stated; the sign to be erected to the Overseer's satisfaction

Mr Palm waited on the Council & asked for the road to be grubbed 16 feet wide, for approximately 80 chains, between sections 35 & 36 Hd Mortlock

Moved by Cr Simes that the work be let to Mr Palm @ 4/6 per chain 2nd Cr Hall. Carried

Cr Hall asked that Mr Hudson be written to asking him to have a pipe put in where the drain crosses the road south of the running sheds at Cummins, on the west side of the railway line.

Oversees report read

Moved by Cr Hall. 2nd Cr Morgan that the Overseers report as read be adopted. Carried
