Meeting held Jan 7/8th 1901 Present Cr Dorward (Chairman) Bruce & OShanahan Minutes last meeting read & confirmed 1/2 Yearly Balance Sheet & Auditors report read Cr Bruce prop Cr OShanahan secd that Balance sheet & Auditors report be adopted as read - Carried Financial Statement read by Chairman Cr OShanahan prop Cr Bruce seconded that application be made for further advance £250 MR. Carried Telegram from Varley & Evans advising Council can strike rate for destruction of Rabbits at any Special Meeting Cr Shanahan prop Cr Bruce secd that Special Meeting be held Feb 22 for purpose. Clerk to write Franklin Harbour & Elliston Councils asking them to co operate. Carried Correspondence I Halls Jr that he had thrown up his contract as he was unable to complete same. Letter from Messrs McFarlane & Crawford Bondsmen for same, leaving the matter entirely in Councils hands. Cr Bruce prop Cr Shanahan seconded that Overseer have work already covered by Halls completed - Balance of money held over till next meeting. Carried
