Minutes of District Council Meeting held on 16th July 1921

Present Cr Jas OShanahan, McFarlane, Morgan, Hall Simes, Puckridge Cr Hall was elected Presiding Officer to elect Chairman

Moved by Cr Puckridge that Cr OShanahan be Chairman for year. 2nd by Cr Simes & carried.

Elections The following result of Election held 2nd July 1921 Lincoln Ward, Wm Simes 37, W.G. Miller 12, Louth Ward Jas. O'Shanahan 29, RE. Sullivan 12, Mr O'Shanahan, & Mr Simes were duly elected

Moved by Chairman "That the Balance Sheets & auditors report be adopted" 2nd by Cr Puckridge & carried

Correspondence From the Sec for Lands stating that an application had been received to transfer Right of Purchase Lease 1449, Sec 158, N. Hd Lincoln , & 6168, Sec 158 S, 159 & 160 Hd Lincoln & asked what Instalments were owing for Vermin Loans. Reply sent 28/6/21 all paid

Letter received from A. Bartlett, Peoples Warden, St Thomas' Church, thanking Council for removing two trees in front of Church Hall, making an approach from footpath to same.

Geddes & Co Letter from Geddes & Co asking for portion of Liverpool St opposite entrance to their yard to be repaired

I. Heyward Letter from I. Heyward asking for road past her house to be repaired

AL Hilll Letter from AL.Hill asking for road between his property at Cummins to be repaired Overseeer to arrange with Mr Hill to repair crab holes not exceeding 10 chns. Carried

Dayman Wages Cr Simes asked that Dayman's wages be paid more frequently, fortnightly insteadof monthly; not entertained

Cr Puckridge asked that about 10 chns metalling be done between 47th & 48th mile post, Main West Road Tenders be called. Granted

Cr Hall asked that 4 chns rubbling be done East side of Railway North Cummins, crab holes filled in Granted Also that 3 chns of Wildeloo Swamps be repaired. Granted

Cr McFarlane asked that piece of road near J. Ettridge (London Street) be repaired. Tenders to be called for next meeting------------Granted

also that pipes be put in opposite Robinsons, and at Tyretucker, & also near old White's River School---------Granted
