Meeting of Council held November 15th 1901. Present. Crs Dorward (in the chair) Bruce Puckridge O'Shanahan & Barraud. Minutes of the last meeting were read & confirmed Chairman explained that he and Councillor Bruce had decided to pay the interest on Elder Smiths & Co's a/c. Cr O'Shanahan proposed Cr Puckridge Sec That Council approves of the Chairman & Cr Bruce action in the matter Carried. Financial Statement was then read by Chairman

Correspondence. From the members for the District stating that the Government had promised to forward Main Road Grant & Subsidy in the 1st week in November Crown Lands Office stating that £300/-/second advance Main Road Grant & £81-11-8 Subsidy General Rate had been paid on to the Councils Credit. J.K. Telfer asking to have road grubbed from reserve 1471 running betweed sections 148, 154, 155, 156, 161, 162, 157, 163, 158, 110, 164 Koppio 99 & 94 Hutchison. Cr O'Shanahan prop. Cr Puckridge sec That overseer report on above road to next meeting of the Council Carried N.G. Hawson and others asking to have road grubbed between B & C & D, 156, 152, 153, 151, Warrow Cr Puckridge prop Cr Barraud Sec That tenders be called for next meeting & that overseer inspect road and report. Carried

Cr O'Shanahan prop Cr Puckridge Sec that Tenders be called for making crossings on Road recently grubbed near Whites River for next meeting. Carried

Applicants to have plough in order of precedence. Carried

Proper Road. Cr O'Shanahan prop Cr Barraud Sec That overeer have about 2 chains of road recently repaired by daymen on Proper Road put into a thorough state of repair Carried.

Wells. Cr O'Shanahan Prop & Cr Puckridge Sec That overseer have ropes & buckets put where necessary at wells, & have all wells on main Roads put in thorough order for the Summer. Carried

Poonindie Cemetery. Cr Bruce Prop Cr O'Shanahan Sec That overseer have Poonindie Cemetery put in good order by filling in burrows etc. Carried

Tenders. Cr 0'Shanahan prop Cr Barraud Sec That tenders be re-called for the work near Tumby Jetty towards Pt. Bolingbroke for Nov 30th - also that tenders for the work asked for by N Hawson & others be in by that date, tenders to be opened by Lincoln any other Councilors that may be present. Carried

Rabbits Cr Puckridge prop Cr O'Shanahan Sec That overseers report be adopted. Inspection of Rabbits to give some notices to people on the West Road as has been given to people on the North Road Carried Leased Roads Cr O'Shanahan prop Cr Puckridge Sec That overseer to not issue summonses for not having leased roads (obstucting roads) before 25th Nov. next For. Cr OShanahan Puckridge Barraud & Dorward. Agst CrBruce Carried

Cr Bruce Prop Cr Dorward Sec That F W Puckridge tender be accepted for Contract 164 Carried A/C Overseer presented A/C Furnell & Bratten Contract 155 Yarranyacka as contract was completed to his satisfaction - also letter from Cr Barraud asking if same could be paid. Cr Bruce prop Cr Dorward Sec that A/C as read be passed for payment. Carried.
