Appeal received from Mr JK Bishop that the assessment of £5000 on Boston Island be reduced to half the amount.

Moved by Cr Puckridge that the assessment be reduced £1000, 2nd by Cr Simes & carried.

Minutes of Previous meeting read & confirmed. Financial statement for past month submitted.

Correspondence. Notice received from the Secretary for Lands that applications to transfer, Section 9 Hd Shannon, held by WD, AE, & RA Weemyss, and Section 9 Hd Mitchell, held by WD Coulthard, and Section 13S Hd Sleaford, held by C, SC, & CJ Theakstone, had been received, & asked what instalments were due on same for Vermin Loans. Replied all paid to 1/2/22.

Section 20 Hd Mortlock Letter from the Secretary for Lands, informing Clerk it is intended to cancel agreement 5515, Sect 20 Hd Mortlock held by WD Tonkin Jnr.

Wire Netting Cheque Letter from the Secretary for Lands acknowledging receipt cheque for £45 on a/c wire netting instalments.

Loans for Fencing Notice from the Secretary for Lands that £128, less 2d for Duty Stamp had been paid to the Council's Credit, purchase of fencing wire.

Report Inspector of Roads. Letter received from the Secretary Local Govt Department enclosing copy of Inspector Aylings report on recent inspection of District main roads.

Adjustment between D/C & Corporation Letter from the Secry Local Govt Dept re question of adjustment in connection with the Council Chamber.

Advance Main Roads Grant. Notice from Accountant L.Govt Dept, that £300 advance of main road grant, had been paid to Councils credit, " Govt Grants A/c".

AE Hawke Letter from Mr AE Hawke requesting permission to put a fence across corner of Section 216, & 244 Hd Lake Wangary, & Sect 287 - 283 Hd Lake Wangary. Moved by Cr Morgan 2nd by Cr Puckridge that the request be granted, provided Mr Hawke leases the roads between Sect stated. Carried.

Petition received from severeal ratepayers Hd Louth requesting that road between Section be put in order. Mr Swaffer to inspect & report on same.

Rabbits in Railway reserve. Letter received from Mr P Kain regarding the Ningana yard, & other railway reserves being infested with rabbits. Authorised Vermin Inspector to give railway Authorities notice. Local Govt. Association Letter from the Secretary regarding, - notice General meeting, & demonstration to be given by the Commonwealth Agricultural Engineers, of road making.

Town Clerk re Road roller. Letter received from the Town Clerk re purchase of same.

Rail Level Warunda Station yard. Letter from the Supt. S.A.R. Pt Lincoln, requesting permission to raise the road level at level crossing, South end Warunda Stn yard. Permission granted.

Re Clearing portion Cummins Cemetery Letter received from Mr R Granit re W Blucher clearing surveyed portion Cummins cemetery @ contract price £6. Moved by CR Hall that, the work be let 2nd Cr Morgan & carried.
