Wm. W. Crapo Esq Dear Sir Yours of the 18th is at hand and I have about got the papers made out; they will amount to about Eighteen Thousand Dollars ($18,000) I find some of the policies are made out in the name of Stevens, Baker & Co and a few in the name of C. C. Baker of that firm, they propose to transfer them to me, by appointing me Attorney for them, will

Providence Dec. 8, 1871 Wm. W. Crapo Esq Dear Sir Enclosed I hand you the papers, and account of Premium paid for War Risks. If they are not made out right return them and I will make them so. I have not filled out the blank in the one addressed to Sec' Fish, but you can do so from the schedule. I have the policies and certificate from the Insurance Coto favor my account do you want them. I also enclose Sec H Hall account.
