as the teaching were very proud of the beautiful building.

In the fall of 1951 the school cafeteria was installed. Mrs. Ambroz was principal. Mrs. Cecilia Neff was food manager and Mrs. Martha Krick was cook.

In the winter of 1954-1955 the building was again painted. Pastel colors were used.

On September 1, 1955 the Library was closed. This was due to poor adult circulation of books. The teachers and children miss the Library very much.

In September 1955 it was decided to use the Library building for a Kindergarten. Mrs. Mary Snepp taught the Kindergarten here for five years. It was demolished in the summer of 1960 to make way for the 1960 addition to the school.

In 1963 a fourth addition was built. It was from the south hall and running east. It has a nurse's room and twelve class rooms. They are 114 - 115 - 116 - 117 - 118 and 119, the Kindergarten downstairs. Rooms 218 Art - 219 - 220 - 221 - 222 and 223 upstairs.

During the winter of 1965 - 1966, the entire building was again painted. The pastel colors used are beautiful.

the room for a library earlier. During the 1966 - 1967 school year Mrs. Relford and Mrs. Archey devoted as much time as they could sorting books and placing them on the shelves. In the fall of 1967 Mrs. Pellett became the full time librarian.

In the fall of 1967, four prefab metal side portable classrooms were placed east of the East Addition. They appear to be twice the size of the average mobile home. They have electric heat, air conditioning and are carpeted. The carpet and low acoustical ceiling lets the pupils hear the teacher naturally. One fifth grade and three fourth grades are here. The teachers and children like them but at first many parents objected.
