The following resolutions were adopted and
the president and Mr Culley appointed a committee
to present them to the county commisioners

On motion of Mr Culley the committee on buildings
and grounds was instructed to report at next meeting
plans and specifications for school building to be
built in 9th ward

The committee was authorized to
approve the services of a suitable architect
On motion adjourned

Resolved that an assessment of 20 cents
on the 100 dollars valuation of taxable property in the
city limits and 50 cents poll be levied for processing lots
erecting new houses and for ordinary expenses of the public
schools
Resolved that the board of county commissioners
be respectfully requested to sanction said levy and place
the same on the tax duplicate for the present year

Resolved that D V Culley treasurer and
T B Elliott president be appointed a committee to
present the said levy to the board of county com
missioners and ask their concurrence thereto
