Board met
Present Messrs Elliott and Vonnegut
and Joseph Curzon architect
Proposals for plastering and [????????] the ceilings
of the two new buildings in the 4th and 9th wards were
opened The following [parties] proposed to execute the
work complete according to the plans and specifications
of the architect for the following sums viz
Tutewiler & Sutton for $2265
E Boring for 2250
Wm Bernhamer for 1998
Order that the architect be instructed enter in to
written contract with Wm Bernhamer his being the
lowest bid for plastering & [??????????ing] the two buikldings
in the best and most workmanlike manner
Ordered that a contract be made with
J Dewey for well pump and waste box for new fifth ward
lot in the best manner for sixty two dollars
Proposals for [??????] and tin work for the new
4th and 9th ward buildings were opened
Ordered that Munson & Johnson being the lowest
bidders that the architect be instructed to con
tract with him for the work
It was further ordered
That the architect be
instructed tocontract for the slating of the
two new buildings with the best material and
in the most approved style Mr Curzon an
nounced that no party in town was preferred to
contract for the slating except [Wm] Zimmerman
Ordered that the contract for fencing
the new 5th ward lot be let to Messrs Cochran
and Draper at thirty cents a foot as no contract
having been made with A Miller as
ordered in the previous meeting
On motion the board adjourned
