we will furnish these or others of our list at a discount
of fifteen percent (15%) from the wholesale price of the
enclosed sheet With regard to the fixing of a
retail price for the readers we would say that we have
never published any at which we would ourselves
furnish them or ohers of our publications and do not
know at what rate they would sell at Indianapolis
There are many causes to justly vary the price in
different localities
We trust our terms as offered above may be
satisfactory and we shall be very glad to learn of
your sdoption of the readers

Gentlemen
I am directed by
Wilson Hinkle & Co to lay before your Hon Board the
accompanying communication I desire also to say it is
not a finality I would be glad to state before your
Board some of the difficulties with which you will have
to contend in buying and selling such as are now
experienced by the present Cincinnati board who now
buy our books at the rates proposed to you
I also promise if our books are adopted
to give to your Hon Board one hundred dollars
worth of these books for gratuitous distribution
