I came here on a cold, snowy
day - my heart was chilled
had left in Chicago many
dear friends and felt I would
perhaps never see them again
in this life - I learn today the
sky is almost as blue as my

is shining bright - my heart is
warm in the kind beloved friend
who made her home mine
for a [dear] happy days, has
imagination and faith in the

[] felt international feeling.

I feel we will always be
true dear, loving friends-

they have given and sad
