I will speak on the [tra?] question on July 24th, if that fits in with your programme.

Although at one time I did a good deal of public speaking I have now acquired a veritable dislike

to it, so dare say I shall be a failure. Besides I get afraid in the society of clever women. I feel as if they were putting intellectual x-rays on me. I suppose this feeling is one reason why we refuse women the franchise, & otherwise make feeble & clumsy attempts to keep them down.

However if your audience find me too tiresome I hope they will put the blame on you!
