TARKINGTON, BOOTH MAY 1919

May 8 '19

Dear Mrs. Sewall: -

The Bobbs-Merrill people are slow: they are still "approaching a decision" about the mss. Mr. Howland, who is the "literary advisor" has been greatly interested, and gave me to understand that he was in favor of an acceptance.

I suppose the question is awaiting Mr. Bobbs' decision and that must take its own time not ours!

I do hope you are continuously improving.

Sincerely yours Booth Tarkington
