Dear Mrs. Sewall,

I recevied you letter of June28th which as been sent to me here in the beautiful mountains of southern Tirol, where I just spent some days of [?], going very soon for a month to England.

I have not yet recived the volumes you are speaking of but I trust they will safely reach me.

It will be a delightful occupation for me to review this your work and I will not miss to send you a copy of the reviews I will write of it.

But, dear Mrs. Sewall, you will excuse me if a certain relay of time

may inside believe my promise and the realisation of it. I do not expect to be at home before this fall. Then the international congress of Hygiene and Demographics, to be held this time in Budapest, and the reopening of the University will undoubtedly take a good deal of my time. But however, as soon I may get a little open time I will read your volumes and review them!

have written to you since I left dear America. Should you not have received them? I did not get any answer till now, neither (or educational makers did I receive the volume you husband promised me kindly when I was so glad to be in your company in Chicago.
