June 6, 1900

Dear Mrs. Sewall:Your kind favor of the 1st inst. received with remittance of $49.00 to pay for five Life Memberships. The one dollar already paid by Miss Hedges makes the amount $50.00 correct. Each name has been recorded on the Great Roster of Philistia, so the Choice Literature will go forward every little while for 99 years (but no longer).

We have also sent to each all the back numbers of the Philistine we have and two or three other bits of printed matter that may prove interesting.

So here's love all 'round, and I am ever and always Your sincere Elbert Hubbard

I may steal Miss Hedges from you next year when we have our Cookery
