'Twas a charming little
visit I had with you and
I am fully convinced that
if I could repeat it every
few months I could get
some great things out of my
ink well.
I spent Sunday with that
peculiar man John [Bryan?] of
Ohio; and in glee he showed me
a beautiful picture of you surrounded
by twenty good women and [?] and
in the background looms a soldier
man - John himself. Then I got
a cheery glimpse of May Adams - one
of your girls and [?] [?]
