My dear Mrs. Sewall

You kind note Madam received just now and I hasten to offer an excuses.

The train was two hours late and I discern that our baggage has not arrived nor will it before mid-night and probably not until 11 tomorrow.

Clara would dearly love to see you and would you make your time to call any moment after mid-day tomorr ow. I sincerely [?] the baggage will arrive by that time.

We both regret your being [?] and do trust not to [miss?] your support tomorrow. Again regretting not to see you before we [?]
