You will be coming across soon now, if you have not already sailed & I [?] this to be in England to welcome you to one little great Conti -nent & to tell you that at our peaceful home all the rooms for you & yours are ready waiting for you. an office as well as [?] rooms & bringing you secretary with you, you can economize what the journey costs & we can grow strong for lumanity together. Your Italian home is hungry for you, will you, has use it for a nice long season?

stay in Rome, the Condition of the Italian Council, the sweetness of the ladies who form it thier welcome to her & hers.
We tried to enjoy her visit to Rome and hope whe will return soon again. As to the efficient work of the Inter. Council I feel more & more that we miss led some women willing to give up all their other work & life and travel simply for the purpose of developing that spirit of internationalism where it exists & causing it to be [form?] where it seems absent. We need apostles as of old. The consequences will be tremendous. We must especially fit them with the gift of tongues and a thorough knowledge of internationalism in law & social world economy and

comparative history and its political tendencies in the past whence deductions for the future can be logically drawn.
They must give up all other work however & become specialists in this branch. They must be women of sufficient birth and general culture & refinement & good taste in all things to do credit to Mr. [Canise?] & theyshould receive their credential & directions as "Ambassadresses" from the President of the International Council to
