I derive a certain satisfaction from the report that HGH is not the only thing behind time and a still greater satisfaction that all accounts agree in placing our Exhibition at the head of all Exhibition which is exactly as it should be.

As the details of the fair I know very little for [whom?] sends me papers from home as I am not supposed to be here and the [?] papers tell us little because everybody supposed to be there but I know that the [?] have come to the fore in grand style and not in the great thing just now.

I am counting the days till I get away and wish I were in Chicago at this very moment.
