May Wright Sewall, Dear friend,

My father, Ezra B Taylor and myself have received invitations to the banquet at the Riggo House Feb 16h. He can not accept I can. He will probably write you a letter to be read at that time, I would not attempt at such a place to make any remarks althought I appreciate the fact of being in [?] so to do.

that i was ['unmix'?] with [?] [old?] [troubles?] made my opinion with something they had determined before convention sent to be auxilliary but did not carry out their intention. The Toledo Society, the strongest in the state has never been auxillary to the state. In fact for years the Toledo society was about all we had and the older members hated to lose their identity but at last they have fallen in to ranks and we are so glad as they are such bright able women.
