SKINNER, OTIS

Friday

Dear Mrs Sewall:

This brief stay of ours is all too scant and the most deplorable part of it is that it gives me so little chance of a touch of your gracious personality.

It was kind of you to think of me - but you are always kind. I found your second letter at Toledo last night.

I had however telegraphed you from Detroit giving you Mrs. [Le Moyer's?] address

and trying to tell you as [nearly?] as one can through the medium of the telegraph company how glad I will be to gaze upon Cornelia's jewels, which will only attain their full luster through Cornelia.

I look forward to seeing you with much anticipation and will have my manager Mr. Buckely on the lookout for you to escort you and yours to me.

Sincerely Otis Skinner
