STARK, OTTO JAn 17, 1895

Mrs. May Wright Sewall 343 N. Pennsylvannia Ave City

Dear Mrs Sewall:

I thank you most heartily for your kind and [?] words and am very much pleased & gratified to know that we have the interest & sympathy of so many of our friends.

I think I can say truthfully that all of us are surprised at the interest taken by Chicago people in our work, The bands expected anything of this kind when arranging, under the auspices of of the Art [?] of this city, ours, as we then thought, [modern?] little exhibit. Thanking you again for your encouragement & wishes

I am yours very respectfully Otto Stark
