I greatly wish to see that city & I should, I know, find so much of interest me there - for besides the art - which I [?] [?] from the delightful papers you have sent me - you love as much as I do.

I am also really interested in the education of girls for I am a member of the Council of our great company which started the high school for girls in England. And it would be a great delight to me to talk over many questions with you, bearing on this subject.

As to the time of my coming West. No [?] is yet fixed. Major Pond is waiting to hear from Chicago & St Louis as to times & seasons. In any case it succeed the [?] after March 20, as I lecture at New Haven then. I am afraid a am an expensive [?] way! But Major Pond will tell you all details.
