[?] on setting a too high value upon my readings which are, indeed, simple enough. But I am [?] [?] and am not very strong and this sort of thing takes so much out of me that I would rather do less of it at the higher price. I want to go to you, thought to meet your people and you personally and so I have submitted an offer

Mrs. Custer is a lovely woman and a swell friend. The spent part of a morning with me lunching and having a cozy good time a day last week.
