Description: Regarding Mrs. Sewall's request for a contribution of his artwork for the National American Women's Suffrage Association bazaar in N.Y., Forsyth has selected a characteristic study of trees in water color and sending it to Liebers to be mounted. She may price it as she wishes; he usually gets twenty or twenty-five dollars for such an item. He is on his way to the annual meeting of the Society of Western Artists in Cincinnati. William Forsyth was a member of the "Hoosier Group" of painters which included T.C. Steele, Otto Stark, J. Ottis Adams and Richard Gruelle. He was a member of the Board of Directors and on the faculty of the John Herron Art Institute.
