Today we received your kind interesting letter. We thank you for it, and are glad to hear that your staying here in Kopenhagen fill you with pleasure. We also were much interested and delighted for the house you would stay in our modest home. Unfortunately my dear husband cannot take part in any meetings. We are any danish women, who invited ladies from the three countries to sent a Chirstmas prayer for peace till the governments in the belligerent countries translated in english, french and Germanic.

We have heard from any of the governments that they have recieved the pretty document. But peace is not coming!

We are delighte dot hear of your working for peace.

[Yess?], you have the oratorical power to open the attention of an assembly.

Miss Petersen Noress has great satisfaction of her peace union for young people. In Stockholm is founded a peace union after her model. Also here in Denmark two places outside Copenhagen has taken up her ideas. It is with the young people it does begin for peaceworking.

So after my thoughts are by you, dear Mrs. Sewall. I seems me, we have worked a long time to be together. It is now long time that we have not heard from

Mrs. Cadbury in England. She came after you as directress for peace, of International Council of Women. I think it is the war, who prevent her to communicate with us.

God bless you and your work for peace!

Mr. Bajer sent you his best wishes for the new year. We all hope the peace must come! The war is too dreadful!
