F. 21 Do, do. John takes coley to Whip. Nolens. Went in
evening home, drove hers (?)

S. 22 Cool - went to Cedar-Creek meeting, heard Mr
Durham, smart

S. 23 Rained, having begun yesterday P. M. Unwell &
remain at home took 3 pills

M. 24 Rainy morning, rode Larry to Sloan Harris' evening
rode her home night

T. 25 Quite cold, sd to be frost, rode Coley - read Ch. of
Freedom, & night at E. H.

W. 26 Cold & cloudy thunder & a little rain finished
reading Ch. of Freedom. B burned foot at home

Th. 27 Very cool - rode Coley back, heard of P. Raglen's
daughter wanting to elope at E. H.

F. 28 Cloudy windy &c. dreamed last night of giving Swindell
& others whisky. Went Home
