The Lebanon Union Library Society met according
to constitutional arrangement. Walter Carruth esqr Pres. &
Thomas Brevard Secr -- Tho. Edwards, Robert Donnell &
Pettis Raglin inspectors --

On proceeding to the exchange John Forbis drew the
No 1 -- James Matheral, Richard Hankins, Tho. B. Reese, Tally
& Stafford, Jesse Donnell, Moses Ellis, David McMurry, Barton
& Calhoun, Fergus S. Harris failed to forward their lots who
are to be dealt with as the inspector say -- On consulting
on the degenerating state of the Library the members present
have appointed Walter Carruth esqr, Major Steele Sy Tho.
Brevard, Tho. Edwards, & Robt Donnell to be appointed a
committee to meet on the 3rd Saturday instant for the purpose
of making some arrangements for the more energetic management
of the business of our society of for the winding up of the
same. -- In case all sd committee do not attend, any three
of them may act, & submit their arrangement to the next
