The human mind is void of skill
Has nought what the divine will
On it bestows; to search elsewhere
May show blind zeal, -- no wisdom there
An thus we're left in piteous nood
Some cause to find, for gratitude
But Nothing short of revelation
Remains to give us information
Explain the ways of God & give
Views of the state in which we live
As agents free to set we find
Remembering still the Divine mind
Directs the choice of every kind

Acrostic

Jesus shall reign where'er the sun
On his successive round may run,
Spreading his kingdom from each shore
Even till time shall be no more,
Prayer without end to him be made, -
High endless praises crown his head
