1888 October 29 Special Meeting.
October 29, 1888.

A Special Meeting of the Board of Trustees
was held, as notified, on Monday, October 29,
1888, at 12 o'clock, M.

Present, The President and Messrs. Browne
Choate, Eaton, Jones, Payson, Rice, Sears,
Whitney and Wolcott.

The reading of the records of the meeting
of June 14, 1888, and of subsequent meetings
was dispensed with.

Monthly Bills.
The President reported that the had ex-
amined and approved the Schedules of
Monthly Bills: _ July 11, $6,543.96; August 8
$5,817.06; September 12, $5,396.04; and October 10,
$5961.60; and that the same had thereupon
been paid by the Treasurer.

Treasurer's Quarterly Reports.
The Treasurer, having presented his
Reports ^{284, 285} for the Quarters ending June 30,
and September 30, 1888, the same were
referred to the Committee on Finance.

Sales of Land.
The Secretary presented a Statement ²⁸⁶ of
Sales of Land to October 29.

Land of Coolidge Heirs.
In accordance with the notice given
at the meeting of June 14, the President
asked for an appropriation of $7000 for the
purchase of land of the heirs of John Coolidge
on Grove Street, Watertown; and it was
