of the President, at the expense of the respective
Proprietors, as provided by Article VI. of the By-Laws

Estate #133 Highland St.
Voted that the Committee on Finance be author-
ized to expend such an amount of money, as
they may deem judicious in making repairs upon
house No. 133 Highland Street, Boston, now in
possession of the Corporation under foreclosure of
mortgage.

Sewer Assessment. (Mt. Auburn Street.)
The President stated that a decision in
favor of the Corporation had been rendered in
the matter of the petition for a writ of certiorare
directed to the Board of Aldermen of Cambridge
and others to quash their proceeding levying
an assessment upon lands of the Corporation
on account of the construction of a sewer in
Mt. Auburn Street, and to restrain the collection
of said assessment; and extracts from the
opinion of Judge Allen were read, showing
the grounds upon which the decision was
based. The papers relating to the matter
were then ordered to be placed on file.

Brattle St. Widening
The President reported on behalf of the Com-
mittee on Lots to whom the matter was referred
at the meeting of the Board on last,
that they had accepted the offer of the City of
Cambridge of $1800 damages in consequence
