of a greenhouse, and that said sum had been
paid to the Treasurer.

New Greenhouse Appropriation
In accordance witht he notice given at the meet-
ing of . last, the President asked for an
appropriation of $3500. for the purpose of construct-
ing a new greenhouse, as authorized by the vote
of the Board at said meeting; and it was

Voted that the sum of $3500 be appropriated
for that purpose.

Land of Coolidge Heirs
The President stated that as there was no
immediate prospect that the Committee on Lots
would make further purchases of land on Grove
Street, Watertown, formerly belonging to the late John
Coolidge, as authorized by the Board at the meet-
ing of . he should not ask for an appro-
priation for that purpose at the present time.

Abstracts of Records.
The President presented for the inspection of
the Board several manuscript folios of the Books
of Abstracts of deeds which the Secretary was di-
rected to prepare by vote of the Board at the
meeting of , and the same were explained
by the Secretary.

The plan of the work was
approved, and it was, – Voted that the matter of
extra compensation to be paid to the Secretary for
performing the work be placed in the hands of the Pres-
ident with full power.
