1893 December 28. Special Meeting
December 28, 1893.

A Special Meeting of the Board of Trustees was
held, as notified, on Thursday, December 28, 1893, at
2:30 o'clock P.M.

Present, The President and Messrs. Browne,
Choate, Eaton, Hodges, Jones, Rice, Sawyer, Sears
and Whitney.

Records read
The records of the meeting of May 17, 1893, and
of subsequent meetings were read and approved

Monthly Bills.
The President reported that he had examined
and approved the following schedules of
Monthly Bills: June 14, ^$7300.96; July 12, ^$7078.40;
August 9, ^$6785.80; September 13, ^$5973.58; October
11, ^$7273.28; November 8, ^$4679.20; December 13, ^$4901.87;
and that the same had been thereupon paid
by the Treasurer. Voted, That the action
of the President in this regard be fully rat-
ified and approved.

Treasurer's Quarterly Reports.
The Treasurer having presented his Reports ^{331, 332.}
for the Quarters ending June 30, and September 30,
respectively, the same were referred to the Com-
mittee on Finance.

Bird Estate Appropriation Voted.
In accordance with the notice given at the meet-
ing of May 17, 1893, the President asked for an ap-
prication of ^$2000. for the purchase of the Bird estate,
lying between the Westerly side of the Cemetery and
land of the Fitchburg Railroad Company.
