The Monthly Meeting of the Board of Trustees was
held as notified, on Wednesday, , at
2:30 o'clock, P.M.

Present, the President and Messrs. Choate, Eaton,
Johnson, Rice, Sawyer, Sears, Shaw and Whitney.

Records read
The records of the were read and
approved.

Trustees elected .
The President announced that at the Annual
Meeting of the Proprietors, held , Messrs.
J. Quincy Browne and Joseph Sawyer were re-elected
Trustees to serve for the term of six years, ending 1900.

Election of President
A ballot having been taken for President, it ap-
peared that the whole number of ballots cost was
seven, all of which were for Israel M. Spelman, and
he was declared elected.

Treasurer Superintendent and Secretary
Whole number of ballots cost for Treasurer, nine,
all of which were for H. B. Mackintosh; for Superin-
tendent, nine, all of which were for J. W. Lovering; and
for Secretary, nine, all of which were for L. G. Farmer,
and they were severally declared elected.

Salaries fixed.
Voted, that the Salary of the Treasurer be fixed
at $2500 for the ensuing year; that of the assistant
at $1500; that of the Secretary at $600, and that he be
allowed the use of the office without payment of rent
therefor; and that of the Superintendent at $4000, and
that the last-named shall have the use of a House
