The Committee on Lots recommended the
following contracts for perpetual care, all of

Resignation of Dr. Hodges accepted
The letter from Dr. Richard M. Hodges contain-
ing his resignation as a member of the Board of
Trustees, was taken from the table and it was
Voted, that the resignation be accepted.
Annual Report to Proprietors Amendment to By-Laws
The Annual Report 342 of the President was
presented and read by the President. The same
contained an amendment, as proposed, of the third
clause of Article VIII. of the By Laws, and upon con-
sideration by the Board, it was voted that the proposed
amendment be presented in the following form to the
Proprietors for their sanction:
" All such sums shall collectively constitute a sep-
" arate fund, called the 'Repair Fund,' and shall be in-
" vested in the public debt of the United States, or in that
" of the State of Massachusetts, or in the debt of any of the
" counties, cities, or towns of this State, or in mortgages of
" real estate in any city or town in Massachusetts,
