a state of continued neglect, and its condition im-
pairing the appearance of the Cemetery, the Secretary,
under the direction of the President, send written notice
by mail to the last known residence of the Proprietor, of
the fact of its condition; and that if the same shall
remain in such neglected condition for thirty days after
the date of such notice, the Superintendent put it in
proper order, under the direction of the President, at
the Proprietor's expense, as provided by Article VI. of
the By-Laws.

James C. Scorgie elected Superintendent
The President reported, on behalf of the Committee
appointed at the meeting of , last, to select
a new Superintendent, that the matter had received
careful consideration and the Committee had de-
cided to report the name of James C. Scorgie, the
present Assistant Superintendent as the candidate
for Superintendent. The report of the Committee
was accepted and, upon motion, a ballot was
taken, at which nine votes were cast, all of
which were for James C. Scorgie and he was duly
declared elected.

Salary fixed.
Voted, that the Salary of the Superintendent be
fixed at $2500, and be payable at that rate, begin-
ning ; that he shall have the use of a
House and the Grounds thereto belonging, the use of a
Horse and Vehicle and the services of one Man, at
the expense of the Corporation.
