[Removal o] Statues to New Chapel
to remove the statues of Governor Winthrop James,
Otis, John Adams and Judge Story from the Old Chapel
to the new building

Furniture for New Chapel Notice of Appropriation
Voted. That the Building Committee be authorized to ex-
pend the sum of Five Thousand dollars for the proper
fitting up and furnishing of the New Chapel and Office
Building and providing for the necessary drainage and
grading of the grounds surrounding the same and for other
purposes connected there with and not included in the ap-
propriations herebofore made.

Loans of over $50,000 to reported to Board
Voted. That the finance committee be directed to
make no larger loan on any note secured by
mortgage than a sum equal to one-twentieth of the
amount of the Repair Fund, being about Fifty Thous-
and dollars, without first presenting the application
for such loan to the Board of Trustees for their approval.

Crematory at Cemetery
Voted. That the President be directed to apply
to the Legislature at its approaching session for
such an enactment as will authorize the Corporation
to build, maintain and operate a Crematory at the
Cemetery.

Petition of Jos. Mason
The petition of Joseph Mason for a right of inter-
ment in Lot No. 243 formerly owned by Marion Church-
ill, deceased, and by her conveyed to the Corporation in
trust was referred to the Committttee on Interments.

Cole and
It having been represented to the Board by certain of
the heirs at law of Thomas Cole, deceased, the original
