Lot #243 Petition of Joseph Mason
The petition of Joseph Mason 375 for a right of interment in
Lot No. 243, formerly owned by Marion Churchill, deceased,
in regard to which the Committee on Interments reported,
at the meeting of , that, by the deed of re-
conveyance of Said Lot, the right of interment therein was
reserved for fourteen persons specifically named, and that
there is now room for the interment of but nine bodies,
was taken from the files; and, it being represented that
the petitioner was willing that the interment of his body should
be made in the same grave with that of his wife, to whom
a right of interment had been reserved by said deed of
reconveyance, it was

Voted, that the prayer of the petition be granted, upon
the condition that the petitioner and his wife be both in-
terred in the same grave space.

New Chapel Settlement of Disputed Claims.
The subject of certain outstanding claims arising un-
der the contract for the building of the New Chapel was
presented and discussed, Mr. Sears, the architect, being
in attendance before the Board and making a state-
ment in regard to such claims.

Voted, that the matter be referred to the Building Com-
mittee, with power to make adjustment of any and all
