Crematory at Cemetery
The President reported that, as directed by the vote
passed at the meeting of , he had ap-
plied to the Legislature for such an enactment as would
authorize the Corporation to build, maintain and operate
a Crematory at the Cemetery, and the after several hear-
ings the Legislature had passed a general law which
gives this Corporation all the desired powers.

Contribution for Street Watering
The President read a letter from the Treasurer of
tthe City of Cambridge asking, if the Board would
not make a contribution towards the expense of watering
the streets in the vieinity of the Cemetery for the year
1897. The President having stated that on the Board had voted to pay sum of
Sixty Dollars as a voluntary contribution towards
such expense for that season, it was voted

That the Treasurer pay to the City of Cambridge
Sixty dollars as a voluntary contribution towards the
expense of watering the streets in the vicinity of the
Cemetery during the year 1897, provided the City
Treasurer sign a receipt for the same showing it
to be a voluntary contribution.

Lot 3167 Wm J. Towne Adm'r appt'd
Voted that the President be authorized to consent in
the name of the Corporation to the appointment of Linwood
O. Towne as Adminstrator d. b. n., with the will annexed
of the estate of William J. Towne deceased.

Dissolved.
