sary for the completion and furnishing of the building, in-
cluding also the charges of the three competing architects
for their plans.

First used for Funerals
The President also reported that the Chapel, al-
though hardly then completed, was first used for
funderals on the ; that the last pay-
ment on the Culbert contract was on ; and
that the new offices were moved into on .

Committee on Lots to have charge.
The President also presented the importance of plac-
ing the Chapel and Office Building under the care of
a Committee who should be empowered to make neces-
sary repairs, regulations and charges for the use of the
same, receive applications for leave to place Memori-
al Windows therein, and have general charge of all
matters pertaining to the building; and upon motion
it was Voted, That the Chapel and Office Building
be placed under the charge of the Committee on Lots, with
full powers.

Claim of Parry Bros. & Co.
A letter 377a was read from the firm of Parry Brothers &
Company, detailing the losses which they had sus-
tained in attempting to carry out the contract of R. J.
Culbert for building the New Chapel and Office Building
and requesting an allowance from the Corporation to
compensate them for such losses, and upon motion,

Voted. That the letter be referred to the architect,
Mr. Sears, with the request that he submit to the Board
