the meeting of December 16, 1898. After some dis-
cussion it appeared to be the opinion of the Board
that is was not within their power to authorize the ex-
penditure of the money of the Corporation for such a
purpose, and it was accordingly voted,

That the petitioners have leave to withdraw.

Crematory at Cemetery
The President, to whom was referred the subject of the
establishment of a Crematory at the Cemetery, reported
that he had given the subject due consideration
and presented the following vote which was passed.

Voted. That the President be authorized to employ
an architect and have plans and estimates made
for the construction of a Crematory on the north side
of the Old Chapel, and for such alterations and im-
provements in the Old Chapel as may be necessary
to connect it with the Crematory.

Dissolved.
