The President then announced the Standing Committees
for 1899-1900, as follows:

Grounds
Committee on Grounds.

The President, ex officio, and Messrs. Choate, Jones,
Whitney and Sawyer.

Lots
Committee on Lots.

The President and Messrs. Jones and Whitney.

Finance
Committee on Finance

Messrs. Russell and Reynolds.

Interments
Committee on Interments

Messrs. Johnson and Cheever.

Advisory Com.
Advisory Committee on Loans

Messrs. Whitney and Johnson.

Committees Continued
Voted. That all Committees having unfinished business
in their hands be continued in office, with the same
powers as originally conferred upon them.

Crematory Notice of Appropriation
The President reported informally to the Board the
progress which had been made in the matter of the
establishment of a Crematory at the Cemetery, and
gave notice that at the next meeting of the Board
he should ask for an appropriation not exceeding
Fifteen Thousand dollars to be expended in the erect-
ion of a Crematory building.

Greenhouses Notice of Appropriation
The President also gave notice that at the next meeting
of the Board he should ask for an appropriation not exceed-
ing Three Thousand dollars to be expended in necessary re-
pairs to the Greenhouses at the Cemetery.
