Resolutions on death of Samuel Johnson
Voted. That we wish to enter on our records our high
appreciation of our late associate, Samuel Johnson. Upon
his judgment and ability we could always rely,
and his long financial experience and business
capacity eminently fitted him to perform the duties
of a Trustee: We feel also that by his death
we have lost a true friend whose courteous manners
and cheerful, buoyant temper endeared him to all.
Voted. That the Secretary be directed to send a copy of
these votes to the family and relatives of our lamented friend.
