Election of President
A ballot having been taken for the election of a President,
it appeared that the whole number of ballots cast was
seven, all of which were for Israel M. Spelman, and he was
declared elected.

Treasurer Assistant Treasurer Secretary and Superintendent.
Whole number of ballots cast for the election of a
Treasurer, eight, all of which were for John L. Dill;
for an Assistant Treasurer, eight, all of which were for
Henry B. Mackintosh; for a secretary, eight, all of which
were for Lewis G. Farmer; and for a Superintendent, eight,
all of which were for James C. Scorgie, and they were
severally declared elected.

Salaries fixed
Voted. That the salary of the Treasurer be fixed at Twenty-
five Hundred dollars for the ensuing year; that of the Assistant
Treasurer, at Fifteen Hundred dollars; that of the Secretary at
Eight Hundred dollars, and that he be allowed the use of the
Superintendent at Three Thousand dollars, and that the last-
named shall have the use of a Horse and Vehicle, and
the services of one Man, at the expense of the Corporation

Voted also that Mr. Albert C. Dean be employed as a
Clerk at a salary of Fifteen Hundred dollars.

Columbarium at Cemetery Vacancy on Committee filled
The resignation of Mr. Jones having caused a vacancy
in the Committee appointed at the meeting of ,
to consider the question of the establishment of a Columba-
rium at the Cemetery, the President appointed Mr.
Foster to fill the same.
