his heirs, executors and administrators harmless and
indemnified to the extent of the amount of said residue
from any and all claims and demands which may be made
upon him or them by reason of the payment thereof to said
Corporation before the expiration of two years from the date
of his official bond.

Hotel Torrington, Vote to confirm Sale
Voted. In relation to the estate numbered 384 Com
monwealth Avenue, in Boston, known as the Hotel Torrington
being the same estate heretofore mortgaged by George P.
Ridgway, of Newton, to the Proprietors of the Cemetery of
Mount Auburn, in trust for its Repair Fund, by mortgage
deed dated , and recorded with Suffolk Deeds
in Book 2424, page 477, and since acquired by said Corpo-
ration by the foreclosure of said mortgage, that this Board,
being the Board of Trustees of said Corporation, does hereby
ratify and confirm the sale of said estate to Otto P.
Cole, of said Boston, and the deed thereof, from said
Corporation to him dated the , and
recorded with Suffolk Deeds, on the same day, in Book
2837, page 360. Said sale ws made to him in the
month of , by the Committee on Finance of his
Board for the sum of $64,000, and on other terms shown
by said deed and mortgage back from said Cole to the
Corporation, and the said deed was executed and delivered
by the Treasurer of said Corporation in its name and be-
half in accordance with the vote of this Board passed on
the, and with such approval
