the date of such notice, the Superintendent put them in
proper order, under the direction of the President, at the ex-
pense of the respective Proprietors, as provided by Article VI
of the By-Laws.

Steam Roller &c. Notice of Appropriation
The President gave notice that at the next meeting of
the Board, he should ask for an appropriation not exceed-
ing Nine Thousand dollars, to be expended in the purchase
of a new Steam Roller, Crusher, Engine and Dynamo,
and in the erection of a House and digging of a Cellar.

R.W. Shapleigh Request #4297
A request 422 was received from Mr. J. R. W. Shapleigh that he be
allowed to place a granite field Boulder, temporarily on
land of the Corporation adjoining Lot No. 4297, with the in-
tention of placing the same at a later period over the
graves of himself and wife in said Lot as a Monument;
and it was voted that his request be granted, provided
that he make a satisfactory contract to pay all the cost
of moving and placing the same and of its removal, if the
same should be ordered by the Board, and also to comply
with such an order, if made.

Street Watering Contribution to City of Cambridge.
Voted, that the Treasurer pay to the City of Cam-
bridge the sum of Sixty dollars as a voluntary contribu-
tion towards the expense of watering the streets in the vi-
cinity of the Cemetery for the year 1903, provided that the
Treasurer of said City sign a receipt for the same, showing
it to be a voluntary contribution.
