The College Staff was the same as during the last
Session with the addition of the Revd J. C. Murray, appoint-
ed 9th, October, and inducted 24th. November 1862, as
Professor of Logic, and Mental and Moral Philosophy.
On 21st. January1863, the Draft of a Code of
Statutes, Rules, and Ordinances, for the Government of the
University was submitted by the Committee appointed in 1861
to prepare it for the consideration of the Board and on 26th.
January it was after lengthened discussion adopted, and ordered
to be printed. Several of the provisions of these Statutes
were regarded with considerable dissatisfaction by some
1862-63
