pointed Joint Professors of Anatomy with Mr Richard A. Reeve B.A., M.D.,
as Demonstrator. Mr Burrowes having been appointed Judge of the
County Court, James A.Henderson Esq.D.O.L., Master in Chancery, was
appointed to his place in the Faculty of Law.

With a view to the greater security of their Official records,
and other papers belonging to the College, the Board gave instructions
in October for the erection of a vault for their most safe deposit, the
cost not to exceed $400. The vault was accordingly built in connection with the Principal's house.

An important chnge in the Curriculum, which has for-
merly been three years, was made during the Session, to take effect
from the beginning of Session 1865-66. The following regulations res-
pecting it were, after full consideration, agreed upon by the Senate
on 21st March 1865, and ordered to be transmitted to the Trustees
with a recommendation for their adoption:

"The Senatus agreed to recommend to the Trustees.
1. That in conformity with the course now prescribed by the other
Universities of Upper and Lower Canada the Trustees enact that
four years shall be required to complete the Undergraduate course
in Arts, the Session in each year to commence on the first Wed-
,esday of October and to close on the last Thursday of April
thereafter, and 2. That the order of attendance on the classes in
